Fluorite (mineral)
Fluorite, also known as fluorite, fluorite powder, or fluorite powder. It is a mineral with an equiaxed crystal system, mainly composed of calcium fluoride (CaF2). It contains a lot of impurities, and Ca is often replaced by rare earth elements such as Y and Ce. In addition, it also contains small amounts of Fe2O3, SiO2, and trace amounts of Cl, O3, He, etc.
Fluorite in nature often exhibits bright colors and some may emit fluorescence. Mohs hardness 4, lower than steel, easy to scratch, brittle, sweet, astringent, non-toxic. Melting point: 1270-1350 ℃. Density: 3.18g/cm3, refractive index: 1.434.
