Origin and application of olivine

Forsterite is produced in metamorphic impure white marble. It is the main component of terrane. Forsterite is easy to change in heating solution or weathering. It is common to change from forsterite to ore, which is serpentine. The main producing areas of forsterite in China are Yichang, Shangnan and Nanyang.

Application of forsterite
